Well......when we arrived at the Hotel we discovered that if we had booked direct with the hotel we would have saved over 14000 tenge (appox 60 GBP on our stay)...so not a happy Bunny)))

By and large, it was incredible base for sightseeing in Almaty, had much fun and met very supportive and responsive staff in their efforts to ensure their guests enjoyed their stay as best as they could. Its magnificent, central location was a plus. The beds were big, I slept well. The large bathroom and the rest was fairly clean.

Internet access is unreliable. The front desk staff speaks good english, but the others are not really: I had difficulty to figure out the details of the Spa facility, because my Russian and the lady's Englush was not good enough to work it out.

My friends and I had a great time here because it had everything we needed. the breakfasts were always top-notch, with a variety of tasty meats and jams. 🍳

I got a upgrade from singel to executive suite for the same rate. The Hotel is a good joice in the matter Value for money compared to some another Hotels in Almaty.

location was perfect for the visiting all my clients in the main streets.hotel rooms and bahtrooms very clean.staff doesnt speak perfect english but helfull.Spa ,pool and gym was exelent.

The venue is conveniently located in the central area, close to the metro and charming local shops and restaurants like Shakespeare, Noodles, Mad Murphy, Line Brew, and Almaty. the breakfast was enjoyable, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. - the staff members were friendly, calm, and check-in was quick and efficient.

Last time I stayed at Dostyk in Jan 2011 and I had complains about Bar menu, these time I was really surprised to see excellent cocktail menu! Well done!!! + quiet room, nice SPA
